Master Sun Yu has spent more than three decades exploring, cultivating and sharing the wisdom of Zhineng Qigong. His life has been a journey of deep learning, service and transformation, guided by the wish to help others discover their own capacity to heal, grow and live in harmony.
His encounter with Zhineng Qigong began in 1988, when he first felt the calling of this extraordinary discipline. That encounter marked the beginning of a path that would transform his life forever. In 1991 he participated in the official Qigong training in Shi Jia Zhuang and, shortly afterwards, was accepted into the prestigious teacher-training program of the Huaxia Center, where he studied between 1992 and 1994 under the direct guidance of the founder of Zhineng Qigong.
During those years he absorbed not only the technical knowledge of the practice, but also the humanistic vision that sustains it: the deep understanding that health, consciousness and happiness can be cultivated when the human being learns to live in harmony with the laws of life.
After graduating, he was invited to teach and offer healing at the Qing Huang Dao Qigong Center, where for six years he accompanied countless people in their processes of wellbeing and inner growth. His dedication, experience and sensitivity made him a beloved guide for students and practitioners from many different backgrounds.
From the year 2000 onward, his work took him to new lands. From Shenzhen to Hong Kong, and later to Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, Master Sun continued to sow the teachings of Zhineng Qigong wherever he found hearts willing to learn. As a traveler of consciousness, he has shared this practice with thousands of people across Southeast Asia, inspiring a healthier, more balanced and full life.
Since 2013 he has been part of the Hua Xia Qigong Association of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. His teaching style, clear and deeply experiential, allows students to quickly grasp the essential principles of Qigong and experience its benefits directly. Those who practice with him highlight his ability to convey deep concepts with simplicity, closeness and wisdom.
In 2018 he began a new teaching cycle based on the works of the founder of Zhineng Qigong related to acupuncture and integral human development, bringing together students from Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in a learning community that continues to grow to this day.
In addition to teaching courses and workshops, Master Sun organizes Qigong journeys and gatherings that allow participants to deepen their practice, connect with nature and experience the cultivation of energy in an atmosphere of harmony and companionship.
His path is the reflection of a life dedicated to sharing knowledge, easing suffering and reminding people that within every human being there is an immense capacity to heal, transform and flourish.
